​This website is focused on showcasing overlooked horn excerpts throughout orchestral and band repertoire in an effort to replace the standard excerpts found on audition lists. 

There are various practical uses for learning new excerpts, and the goal of this database is to provide insight into this. The purpose is to provide horn players and committees with a start on how to find new excerpts, and as a template for other instrumentalists to use for their own playing.
